The HD format war continues and this time Blue-ray got a big power-up called Warner Bros.

Currently Warner Bros produces titles for both HD formats (HD DVD and Blue-ray) but that is changing. Warner Bros will start releasing only Blu-ray titles later in 2008.

This is big news for the HD format war. It means that the Blue-ray format is having yet another boost in the market share over the HD DVD format. Lets hope that this war brings good things for us consumers.

No, it’s not a mistake, that 0 (zero) belongs there, it’s really a 150-inch TV. Matsushita (Panasonic) will unveil its new huge HDTV Plasma next month at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2008) in Las Vegas. It will be the world’s largest TV. Of course, with 2 by 3.5 meters it is quite a monster. From what I know the current monstruosity trophy is hold by Sharp with a 108-inch HDTV. Tiny . . .

It is thought that this set will be released in 2009. No price is known yet but I reckon I will not be able to afford one.
