Legal battle over World of Warcraft ‘bot’

Michael Donnelly, the creator of Glider, a World of Warcraft ‘bot’ application, is being sued by Blizzard.

This software allows users to be away from the computer while the software plays the game for them. It is quite useful when doing all the boring bits in the game, like grinding for gold or other resources. But it is illegal.
