150″ Plasma HDTV to be unveiled by Panasonic

No, it’s not a mistake, that 0 (zero) belongs there, it’s really a 150-inch TV. Matsushita (Panasonic) will unveil its new huge HDTV Plasma next month at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2008) in Las Vegas. It will be the world’s largest TV. Of course, with 2 by 3.5 meters it is quite a monster. From what I know the current monstruosity trophy is hold by Sharp with a 108-inch HDTV. Tiny . . .
It is thought that this set will be released in 2009. No price is known yet but I reckon I will not be able to afford one. ![]()
